Horsing around for charity
28 Jul 2016
Registrations are still open for the annual Gingerbread Horse Campaign, a fundraiser that lends support to the NZ Riding for the Disabled.
Next week, hundreds (and maybe thousands) across the country will be baking, decorating and selling delicious horse-shaped gingerbread biscuits at their schools, offices, and in the community to raise money for the charity. The campaign runs for the whole of August.
By registering, you will receive a pack that includes posters, recipes, cookie cutters, decorating tips and more. It's a fun way to get involved! See how ambassador Jo Seagar is getting involved here.
All proceeds go towards providing therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities to anyone with a disability.
To register, visit www.gingerbreadhorse.co.nz.
