Paint it Green for World Environment Day

04 Jun 2026

Green is topping the charts as a popular colour to use in home interiors, and now’s the perfect time to test out which one is right for you.

Testpots are a great way to make sure you love a shade before committing to buying larger amounts for your walls. And for the month of June when you buy a green testpot, Resene will donate $1 to Trees That Count.

Just by testing out some paint for your home you’ll be helping the organisation grow a brighter future for New Zealand and plant extra native trees this year!

Trees That Count runs the country's only marketplace which provides a place for anyone to fund or gift native trees, with a mission to plant millions more native trees throughout New Zealand.

Some popular greens to try are Resene Moon Mist, Bud, Waiouru, Kelp, Ottoman, Haven, Rivergum and Forest Green:

Resene’s Paint it Green campaign applies to all Resene green 60 mL testpots (excludes metallic and wood stains) purchased by retail customers between 1-30 June 2026 at Resene owned ColorShops (NZ only).
