Paint it black for Black Friday!

Black Friday may have its roots in the US as the post-Thanksgiving shopping rush, but here in New Zealand the colour black carries its own weight. It’s the shade of our iconic sports teams and a favourite in modern Kiwi homes.

It’s a brilliant option for exteriors, both making a bold statement or blend softly into the landscape, depending on how you use it. Inside, it can create refinement, cosiness, or a crisp contrast to other shades. And with plenty of variations to pick from, Resene has a deep, inky tone for just about any project.

Here’s some inspiring ways to bring black into your home with Resene paints, stains and wallpapers:

Add a striking feature to your exterior by painting different cladding or angles in a black hue. If you’re opting for monochrome and going all dark, you can mix and match black and bold shades while still creating a harmonious design.
