Four colours we’re loving right now, and how to use them

We’re back with more of our favourite colour choices at present. These trending hues are sure to give you some inspiration if you’ve been thinking about your next home makeover. Here’s how you can use them in your home and what to pair them with!

Resene Rainee

What it looks like:Resene Rainee is an urban greyed off green, mutable and aqueous.

Where to use it: This calming shade is perfect for bedrooms, living room feature walls and kitchen cabinetry.

Best friend colours: Pair Rainee with Quarter Rice Cake, Serene and Dark Slate.

 

Resene Double Duck Egg Blue

What it looks like:Resene Double Duck Egg Blue is a complex mix of muted green, grey and blue.

Where to use it: Blues like this bring a sense of peace and serenity to bathrooms and bedrooms, spaces where you want to relax after a long day. They also look great in kitchens and living rooms paired with light wood stains – try the Resene We Speak Beach range for a coastal feel!

What it looks like:Resene Truffle is a soft warm light beige, like winter foliage.

Where to use it:Truffle is one of those neutrals that can be used anywhere in your home. It is light enough not to overpower any room, and just earthy enough and dark enough to give you that comfy, inviting feel.  

Best friend colours:Pair Truffle with other earthy hues like Resene Quarter Truffle, Schooner and Coffee Bean.

 

Resene Lichen

Where to use it: Use this moody hue in bedrooms and nurseries for a calm, restful and cocooning space.

Best friend colours: Pair Lichen with shades like Blanc, Nero and Resene Colorwood Meranti for some warmth.
