What is your role at Resene and what does it involve?

I’ve been with Resene for ten years as an architectural services representative, helping specifiers and their clients get the right coatings on their projects, and problem solving when things go wrong!

Tell us about some of your favourite projects using Resene products.

I’ve enjoyed working on some of the large rebuild projects here in Christchurch, particularly the Town Hall restoration and the Te Pae Convention Centre, but in a way I actually find the everyday chances to simply help someone who has a paint issue find a solution (or avoid a disaster) just as rewarding.

What is your biggest design or product tip?

My only design tip is to paint walls with TVs (or built in fireplaces) on them in dark colours! My product recommendation would be to use Resene Sonyx 101 on exterior windowsills and fascias.

Can you recommend a couple of great Resene products for our readers?

Resene Brush Cleaner is a great way to keep brushes in top condition, and if you want to stain a deck give the PAL Deck Master a go.

What is your favourite Resene colour/s?              

Looking around our 30s bungalow, you’ll see a lot of Resene Snapshot, Resene Villa White, Resene Jaguar, Resene Quarter Lemon Grass, and of course Resene Nero behind the TV (below).
