A winning concept in the NKBA 2025 Student Design Competition

This year, New Zealand Diploma in Design students once again took on the NKBA Student Design Competition and there was one clear winner in the Resene sponsored category of Best Concept Kitchen Design: Na Ni from Aurora Australis Interiors.

Na followed a specific client brief and site plan provided by NKBA to design her kitchen concept, and the result is striking and minimal with clean lines and practical use of space. She chose Resene Half Sea Fog for the kitchen walls, cabinetry and ceiling, creating a bright space that pairs well the light timber, gold fixtures and stone benchtop and floor.

Na’s winning kitchen concept is designed using Resene Half Sea Fog on walls, cabinetry and the ceiling.
