Resene voted most trusted brand for paints 2025

The results of the 2025 Most Trusted Brands survey have been announced, offering valuable insight into what New Zealanders look for in brands today. The key take aways to retaining consumer trust seem to lay in innovation, genuine value-for-money, and, most importantly, authenticity.  

Resene is delighted to be the winner in the paints category, a title which we have held since 2012!  

The most trusted brands have adapted by offering practical, cost-effective solutions that meet the needs of Kiwi households, along with genuine customer service and quality products. Award-winning trusted brands work tirelessly to uphold the core trust values, regardless of the challenges. 

Now in its 26th year, the Trusted Brands survey was conducted by independent market research firm Catalyst Consultancy & Research. The study measured trust levels across 67 categories, with responses gathered from a nationally representative sample of 1,780 New Zealanders.
