Tammy Cowan is proud to be involved in Horse of the Year in the Resene Horse Play Zone

Tammy Cowan’s colourful horse jump business, Cowan Cavalletti, has grown in leaps and bounds since its launch in 2016. Tammy’s horse jumps have become a colt classic in the equestrian world and the company is taking part in this year’s Land Rover Horse of the Year (9-14 March, Hastings). Tammy and Cowan Cavaletti [Cowan Cavalletti for Horses | cowancavalletti.co.nz] are providing a kids’ colouring activity within the Resene Horse Play Zone at the event, which is the biggest event in New Zealand’s equestrian world.

Get creative in the Resene Horse Play Zone with colourful Paint by Numbers murals to paint in Resene testpots, a colouring in competition and Pin the Tail on the Pony. Cowan Cavalletti Skinny Jumps are also set up in an activity course for energetic and hot-to-trot littlies to jump over.

Tammy and her hobby horse demonstrates the activity course she’s designed for littlies at Horse of the Year. The course features Cowan Cavaletti jumps painted in Resene Colour Me Pink, Resene Wet N Wild and Resene Merino.

The winning colouring entry will receive one Cowan Cavalletti Skinny Lizzie sets in the limited-edition colours and two matching Skinny Mini – perfect for beginners plus prize packs from Resene. The term cavalletti means ‘little horse’ in Italian. The phrase has come to describe a horse jump where the pole and stands are attached as one piece. The Cowan Cavaletti jumps are ideal for budding horse riders who need easier jumps to practice on while adding a little colour to the field.
