Do you have what it takes to be Gardener of the Year?

If you or someone you know is a green-fingered good sort, a gardener on a mission to make the world a better place or a passionate contributor to your community garden, you could be the 2021 Gardener of the Year.

NZ Gardener is on the hunt for groups or individuals who have used their gardening skills to help others. Five finalists will feature in the NZ Gardener October magazine and one will go on to become the 2021 Gardener of the Year, receiving a $1000 Palmers gift card. Each finalist will receive an amazing prize pack full of goodies, including $250 worth of products from King Seeds, Palmers and GARDENA, $100 of Resene paint, 3 fruit trees from Walmea Nurseries, 3 bush roses from Matthews Nurseries, and a 1-year subscription to NZ Gardener.

There’s also a Most Colourful Character section, and the lucky winner will receive $1000 worth of Resene paint for their next garden renovation. 

How to Enter: Send up to five high resolution photos and explain why you wish to nominate a person or group to be the Ryman Healthcare 2021 Gardener of the Year. Email your entry to [email protected].
