Celebrate Conservation Week at the Sustainable Blue Backyard Event

Envirohub Bay of Plenty has teamed up with the Department of Conservation for a fun-filled educational day at Waihi Beach, complete with a kids’ treasure dig, sand sculpture contest, live music and beach clean-up.

This fun-filled day will take place alongside interactive education providers focused on the importance of conserving our beautiful taonga, reducing our waste and keeping it out of the marine environment. Kids can even paint their own rat trap using Resene paints to take home for backyard trapping!
