The international tournament of live painting has come to New Zealand. Art Battle are searching for the most talented artists in the country to perform, compete, and ultimately represent New Zealand on the world stage at Art Battle International. The winners of each event will meet for the Art Battle New Zealand Championships, where one will be selected to compete against other artists from around the world.

With over 2,000 events in 20 countries since 2001, Art Battle is the premier global competition for live artists. Each event features 12 incredible artists who will go head-to-head in three rounds of live painting, with the winners determined by the audience’s vote. Watch as the champions progress from city, to regional, to national, and ultimately to the World Championships.

Each Art Battle® International event features painters performing live in three rounds of competition. At the end of each round, the audience votes for the winner – and those winners move on to higher levels of competition. You can even take these incredible works home through the silent auction.
