Strong and moody - a designer’s brief for a bedroom creates a luxe interior

Homeowners Debbie and Graeme were looking for a colour to that would feel luxurious and comfortable in their master bedroom renovation.

Interior designer Suzanne Arts had just the colour in mind – Resene Timekeeper, a complex blend of both blue and green with depth and richness.

The result, Debbie says, is everything she hoped for.

Now, Debbie says she is thrilled that they were bold enough to go with the dramatic colour.

Suzanne says that choosing a strong colour is rewarding when a client is confident about it.

“The trend for neutrals has been strong for at least five years, but people are coming back to colour. It’s refreshing going full-colour and the trick is balancing it.” 

Combined with the crispness of Resene Quarter White Pointer on ceilings and trims, it is a real statement.
