Refurbished vintage furniture, charming exteriors and magnet walls for kids. These projects are sure to give you some inspiration to pick up that brush and get painting!
Remember, we love to see your finished projects, so please email us some photos and the Resene colours and/or Resene wallpapers you’ve used to [email protected].

This home has had an exterior makeover and now features a timeless colour scheme thanks to the help of Resene Colour Consultant Amy Watkins. The weatherboards are painted in Resene Double Black White, front door and garage door in Element, and roof in Grey Friars.
If you’re stuck on what colours to choose, book your own colour consultation.

Matt Rojewski is a huge fan of Resene paints, especially Resene Lustacryl, which he uses to transform older furniture. Mainly focussing on pre-loved vintage pieces, Matt restores and refinishes these gems giving them a new life – like this beautiful sideboard painted in Resene Holly. “I got in to refurbishing four years ago and fell in love with it,” Matt says. “It is more of a passion and a way to relax and be creative.”

This habitat reader is a big neutral lover, and this was her first go at using bolder colour. The small home office seemed like a safe place to start, where she used the sophisticated dark green of Resene Mangrove. The green looks extra crisp against the white trims and colourful prints.

Magnetic walls can be a great way to add something fun and creative to children’s spaces, and that’s exactly what @meandmygirlsreno has done. Starting with Resene FX Magnetic Magic, the lovely pink of Resene Soothe was then painted over the top to personalise the wall even further.
