We’ve got a great roundup of projects from our readers this month. From a master bedroom to a garden glow up, you’re sure to find some inspiration here! Remember we love to see your finished projects, so please email us some photos and the Resene colours and/or Resene wallpapers you’ve used to [email protected].
Homeowner Jane painted the master bedroom in her home in the soft yet vibrant shade of Resene Gum Leaf. This choice of colour adds a serene quality to the space, and is gentle enough to create an ideal backdrop for her favourite artwork.
Tessa and Michael are on a mission to renovate their whole 1970's home. With a mid-century modern design, the pair have chosen the classic Resene Rice Cake as a base colour for their beautiful abode, including painting over the bricks around the fireplace, bringing them back to life and brightening the room. Follow along their renovation journey on Instagram at The Holehouse.
Artist Dannika Tukua has been busy. Also known for her whimsical wildlife paintings and striking Resene painted power boxes, this time she’s decorated a brand new rotary cow shed with a wetland theme. Using natural colours to reflect the surrounding environment, she painted her mural in a mix of Resene Mother Nature, Resene Chocolate, Resene Half Shark, Resene Swiss Coffee, Resene Forest Green, Resene Cedar and Resene Black. What an amazing difference a wood stain can make to timber surfaces. This garden wall got a refresh with Resene Woodsman Shadow Match using Resene CoolColour technology so it won't get too hot or damaged in the summer heat. The dark tone makes the greenery stand out and turns what is a common retaining wall into a stunning feature. Check out more of Outdoors Ltd work on Instagram.
Artist Alana Mays has her striking bird paintings displayed at the Resene ColorShop in Masterton. She also used an array of Resene hues including the fabulous Resene FX Nightlight – glow in the dark, which she applied to her lily flowers. See more of Alana Mays Creations here.
