02 Feb 2022

Raglan artist Denise Fort can upcycle just about anything with paint. She is a talented painter who creates everything from fine artworks on canvas to upcycled objects with graphic designs and some Resene testpots.

Denise has taken a simple stool and added paint and graphic design to make a memorable and unique piece. What makes Denise’s art unique is her detailed, illustrative style and playful storytelling using bold Resene Black and Resene White

German-born, with Czech roots, Denise has exhibited in Europe, Asia, USA and Canada. She now lives and works as a full-time artist from her home studio and art gallery in the Waikato town of Raglan.

Denise worked in the design industry in Europe and New Zealand as a concept drawer, illustrator and graphic designer with a focus on branding. In this small table Denise has used Resene Picton Blue defined with Resene Black and Resene White.
