Wellington glows for LUX Light Festival
11 May 2017
The capital's waterfront and laneways are set to come alive this month, as light sculptures and installations set Wellington aglow. The LUX Light Festival is a free event and takes place from 12-22 May, with five different precincts that will wow both children and adults alike.
This year, the festival introduces something new to the world stage, the Te Aō Marama precinct. New Zealand’s leading contemporary Māori light artists and performers will come together in a programme especially for the light festival. Resene FX Fluoro paint will also shine bright each night with the light painting feature.
