Reader project: Hollywood heaven

08 Nov 2016

Clever reader Sylvia Dunkley spotted the Upcycling for Good project we featured last week in collaboration with the Salvation Army, and was inspired to share her own Sallies story.

She bought this small chest of drawers for $15 at her local Salvation Army store, and with a bit of decoupage, paint (Resene Tea) and new handles, it was reborn.  The pictures come from a book about old silent movie stars. So clever.

Visit your nearest Salvation Army store and find your own treasure to upcycle.
