Last month saw the return of Resene and the Salvation Army's annual Hunger for Colour drive, swapping cans of food for Resene testpots at Resene ColorShops to help Kiwi families in need.

Palmerston North Resene ColorShop was the top collecting store for the fourth year in a row, bringing in more than 2,500 cans. The drive was boosted by local rock painting group Palmy Rocks, which encourages families to paint rocks and hide them around town for other families to find and share their discoveries. The cans will give a timely boost to Salvation Army foodbanks, restocking shelves after a busy holiday and back-to-school period and helping prepare for winter when many families struggle. Read more about the drive here
