A certain polish

Being friendly to the environment is important to designers Gwyneth and Dave Hulse, and this thinking has resulted in a beautiful range of homewares and statement jewellery.
The couple recycles native New Zealand timber cut-offs in their workshop based in Kerikeri, creating what has become their signature hexagonal pieces, and selling them through their studio Gwyneth Hulse Design. The products are available in both a natural, polished finish or painted in pops of colour (using paint from Resene).
And their designs are getting noticed. Last year, the studio won the Home & Living category in the Etsy Design Awards for Australia and New Zealand.
