Celebrating New Zealand's mural town

Katikati is known as New Zealand's mural town, and the town celebrates this every year with the action-packed NZ Mural Contest and Arts Festival.

Kicking off on 30 September, this year's festival will start with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, street market and loads of activities.

Seven artists from all over the world will be painting their murals throughout the festival, and there will also be sculpture, photography and songwriting competitions to enter.
