Bring colour to your community

Is there an area in your neighbourhood that deserves a makeover, or perhaps a splash of colour? Whether it's an idea for a new community mural, graffiti clean up, or local playground paint job, Neighbourly wants to hear from you.

They've teamed up with Resene to launch Colour Your Community, an initiative asking community members and organisations to submit a few words about a local area or building that needs a bit of love.

The initiative is offering six prizes of up to $1000 worth of Resene paints, wood stains and accessories. There have already been applications for plans to create a rainbow fence to brighten up a playcentre and a town hall in need of a facelift.
