Eight-year-old Stu from Wellington got his turn for a star bedroom makeover in this week's Resene My Dream Room: Kids Edition.

From a compact plain-white room to one with a fiery orange feature wall in Resene Tango and honeycomb shelving, it's a perfect setting for this kid, known in his family as a 'mad scientist'.

And the bespoke shelving, painted in bold colours of Resene Tango, Resene Golden Dream, Resene Monza, Resene Citron and Resene Gunsmoke , displays his expanding 'cactus farm', a point of pride for Stu.
