Most trusted paint... again!

29 Jul 2015

New Zealand Reader's Digest has announced the results of its Most Trusted Brands survey, and once again Resene has earned itself Most Trusted Paint brand.

This year has also seen Resene voted as one of the top 10 most trusted brands in New Zealand, coming up eighth overall.

More than 1,200 kiwis took part in the independently commissioned survey, which asks them to "identify the products that dominate their lifestyles and hold their all-important trust."

The magazine's editor in chief, Sue Carney, says brands that feature highly have won the “crucial battle” – sometimes across generations – to build a name and a product people believe in. She also acknowledges the shift in how consumers are finding these trusted brands, with the rise of social media. See the full list of this year's Most Trusted Brands at www.trustedbrands.co.nz.

“With social media comes a new era of trust," says Sue. "In a world of advertising hype and spin, we want transparency – and more than 90 per cent of us will trust the social media reviews of our fellow consumers. What’s more, many online shoppers will actively seek out these reviews as part of the shopping process.”

Other winners include Sleepyhead (beds), Stihl (DIY power tools), Samsung (electronics) and Fisher & Paykel (whitegoods).

Resene appreciates the ongoing feedback from customers that helps the kiwi company to continually improve. Constructive and helpful feedback is always welcome – simply send an email to [email protected] or fill out the feedback form on the website.
