The sun has started to shine at last so it’s time to relax outside. Turn your hand to a bit of furniture DIY with this Cape Cod inspired chair made by up-cycling a timber pallet. It’s then finished in Resene Lumbersider waterborne low sheen paint tinted to Resene Transmission (grey), Resene Buttercup (yellow) and Resene Skydiver (blue).  

This DIY project by Justin Newcombe featured on last Friday’s episode (November 21) of Choice TV’s Get Growing with Palmer’s. The show uses kiwi ingenuity as well as expert knowledge and a can-do attitude to bring together innovative projects and easy-to-use materials. We also see Justin help young professionals transform their garden space one DIY project at a time for a creative, low maintenance and productive space to grow within the inner-city garden. The show offers ideas for anyone with little time and any amount of space.
