Blackboard paint makeover

It's a familiar sight – the garage turned into a storage space, spilling with hardware boxes, the spare mattress and things that need fixing.

But in this week's Resene My Dream Bedroom: Kids Edition, nine-year-old Grace from Auckland had other plans for the family's underused garage space.  

Her dream was a playroom for her and her two sisters, all incredibly artistic, to practice their singing, dancing and drawing. Using Resene Blackboard Paint for the stage background wall, the girls are now able to create their own settings to perform against. Grace also had the ingenious idea to turn the stage into a bed for when her grandparents come to stay.
